I love this book because my mother often talked about Ginger Mick when I was very young
I had forgotten about the story so I couldn’t wait to get the book!
I thought Ginger Mick was the boy!
It has all come flooding back! And the tears too!
Mum would have loved to see the story in print, she told the story back in the 50’s
She died in 2014
The illustrations are beautiful
Love from June Read xxx
