No one in the forgotten town of Colmera Springs has paid taxes in 160 years.

Clarice's new employer is determined to change that.

Armed with rubber stamp and ballpoint pen, Ryan Conner, Tax Collector, drags Clarice up to the sleepy locale for a few frolic-filled days of serving notices and seizing assets.

One look at the town residents, however, has Clarice ready to backpedal out of there. Her job description said nothing about zombies. Sadly, one moment Ryan is salivating over a tax roll of 200 land owners, and the next, he can't salivate at all--he's been zombified.

Now, Clarice must ace a crash course in survival while dealing with hordes of undead, bizarre government projects, and a pygmy elephant in the bathroom (don't ask) if she's going to make it home alive and in one piece.
