This is the most helpful parenting book I’ve ever read. It gets at the foundation of parenting: we are parenting our children as God parents us. If our perspective stays on that foundation, everything else can align. As I read I find my interactions with the kids transforming into more than a battle for control and me grieving at their lack of insight. I’ve learned from this book that OF COURSE they need parenting repeatedly and continuously: they are children in need of the Savior.

This book is SO GOOD!!!! I highly recommend it to any Christian parent. It's not so much a 'how to' book as it is a 'how to think' and 'how to approach it' book. The principles and advice in this book are SO NEEDED today, and it's all very sensitively and expertly given. I can not recommend this book highly enough!!!!
