'Neil Gaiman is a treasure house of story and we are lucky to have him' - Stephen King

Life moves at a leisurely pace in the tiny town of Wall - named after the imposing stone barrier which separates the town from a grassy meadow. Here, young Tristran Thorn has lost his heart to the beautiful Victoria Forester and for the coveted prize of her hand, Tristran vows to retrieve a fallen star and deliver it to his beloved. It is an oath that sends him over the ancient wall and into a world that is dangerous and strange beyond imagining.

'In prose that dances and dazzles, Gaiman describes the indescribable: the eerie colours, ravishing scents and dangerous laughter of Faerie.' - Susanna Clarke

Contains Spoilers: Keep Reading?

Stardust is one of my favourite stories of all time and here's why: it's pure adventure.

What a mind Neil Gaiman has! And he's kind enough to let you experience what I suspect is just some of his brilliance with Stardust. Only Gaiman would imagine a fallen star turning into a person, and she is nothing like what you would expect. That golden hair, her stunning dress, she opens her mouth and...what a ball-breaker!

I recommend this: turn off your phone, grab some tasty snacks and bunker down for an unforgettable ride!
