Huffalots can turn into lovealots! A stunningly illustrated picture book with real heart, Eve Coy's Huffalots will melt those bad moods away.

When Mum wakes up her Huffalots, nothing is right – they don’t like their clothes, their breakfast is yucky and they just don’t like each other. When one of them trips over, the other offers a hug and they magically transform into Huffalittles, then Lovealittles, and finally, with a big cuddle they become Lovealots.

But it’s been a long day and Mum is now grumpy and tired. Good thing the Lovealots know exactly what to do... A gorgeous picture book that explores how moods change through the day, and what we can do to help others feel better.

  • A heart-warming story of family life that will be instantly recognisable to any household.
  • Features a wind-down, heartfelt ending perfect for bedtime.
  • Eve Coy has been longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize for her debut picture book: Looking After Daddy.

Eve Coy

Eve Coy always loved to draw. She studied animation at Edinburgh University and became an artist working for Aardman Animation. When they lived in Bristol she would take her first daughter to the library which had a fabulous children's section, placed on shelves inside a boat.

She and her daughter were frequent passengers on that boat, and as they worked their way through the shelves Eve became hooked on picture books. Eve gained an MA in Children's illustration from the prestigious Cambridge School of Art and Looking After William is her first picture book.
