So it had nearly been a year since the movie had come out and I still hadn't seen it. For me that is strange so i decided to read the book seen though my family and friends loved the movie. I had no idea what I was in for but as soon as i picked it up, it was impossible to put back down. I was staying up to 10:30 at night until i finished, every moment i had free i was reading. This book keeps you wondering and sitting on the end of your seat. I have to say it is 10 times better than the movie!!! Did not fail me at all...

Let me just start off by saying that if there was any doubt to whether you should read this or not, I 100% wholeheartedly believe you should! This novel is packed with high action and thrilling sequences, with absolutely NO slow parts what so ever. It starts off with a boy named Thomas who has no memory of his past life up until this point, but can still recollect simple things like eating, language, work, play and more. He wakes up in this box alone that slowly lifts him up into what will become his new living nightmare: a maze that for for over two years, no one can solve to hope to escape. As he begins to learn more and more about the place that he has been sent to, more and more questions pop up, and within just a few pages you will be hungry for more! Also, the cliff hanger at the ending refuses to let you stop reading about these unfortunate souls! All in all, definitely a five star recommendation of this novel, as it won't let you go until you've finished it. If you haven't already, I recommend buying the whole series to prevent any delays.
