Detective Jack McHarg likes his job, but the regular nagging of the spirit voice "helping" him to solve cases has him in trouble with his supervisors, who think he's on the edge of breaking up because he keeps hearing voices. His Scots and Irish ancestors, however, knew full well the reality of Second Sight and visits by those in the Otherworld. And the visitors from the Otherworld are determined to help him solve case, whether he wants their help or not.
