Debra Tidball

Debra Tidball is a picture book author, social worker, blogger and children's book reviewer. Debra's book When I See Grandma, illustrated by Leigh Hedstrom (Wombat Books, 2014) won the Children's section Caleb Award, and was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Book of the Year.

The Scared Book, illustrated by Kim Siew (Lothian/Hachette, 2017) won the SCBWI Crystal Kite (Australia East and NZ), was a CBCA 2018 notable book, and shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Book of the Year. Debra's most recent book, Anchored, illustrated by Arielle Li, was published by Exisle Books in 2023. Debra has an MA in Children's Literature from Macquarie University and lives in Sydney with her family.

Kim Siew

Kim Siew is an illustrator and mural artist living on Gadigal land, Australia.

Her work is characterised by playful characters, bright palettes and simple line work created with the sole intention of bringing a smile to your day.
