The legendary Tears of Apphat, two blue sapphires that hold immense power have not been seen in a hundred years.

A dream brought to a powerful seeress for interpretation, foretells the rise of an evil sorceress responsible for the theft of one of the Tears, throwing the world into a state of imbalance. It also foretells that only an initiate of Apphat can restore the Great Harmony.

Aldrik is unsure what to do with his life. He is the target of ridicule at school, unable to control his visions; his powers are beyond his understanding.
