Pivoting his analysis on news-making events, Szasz exposes the fallacies of our present penchant for interpreting the behaviour of 'sane' persons as goal-directed and therefore sensible, and the behaviour of 'insane' persons as caused by a 'mental illness' and therefore senseless.
