You can choose your friends; you can leave a relationship... but you can't get away from your neighbours.

Martha Rigby has moved her family to Dublin in sudden and mysterious circumstances. Once assured and in charge, she's now a shell of her former self.

Robin Dwyer is back living at her parents' with her four-year-old son, vowing her hopeless relationship is over once and for all.

Edie Rice has everything she could want, apart from a baby. And how is she to get close to that, with a husband who can't commit.

All three women find themselves living on Pine Road, where a scandal has hit and the neighbours are all about to know each other a lot better. Whether they like it or not...

"Liane Moriarty meets Maeve Binchy meets Marian Keyes. I laughed, I cried, I shuddered, I was agog. This book is going to knock people's socks off."

If you have ever wondered exactly what your neighbours get up to behind closed doors, then this is definitely one for you!! The book follows the adventures the residents of a small road as their lives progressively get more entwined and complicated. The crazy results are a bit unlikely but great fun nonetheless, and keep your attention for the duration. The characters and story lines are a mix of likeable and more sinister, which I guess captures what is going on in any community at any time. Highlights are the WhatsApp group and the plot twist at the end. Definitely one to settle down and read with a mug of tea when you have plenty of time on your hands and need a bit of fun escapism. And who doesn't?
