YA favourites Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, fresh off the back of the Starbound trilogy, are back with another brilliant adventure that you absolutely need to read this summer. Pitched as Tomb Raider meets Indiana Jones in space, Unearthed is the tale of two unlikely heroes who venture into the belly of an alien temple in the hopes of uncovering vital technology that could turn around life on Earth, only to meet with so much more than they bargained for.

This is definitely not your average adventure story - the plot just races along, beautifully showcasing the captivating world that Kaufman and Spooner have built. Most of all, the heroes of this story, plucky scavenger Mia and the bookish Jules, make the most improbable yet loveable duo to ever transport readers across the galaxy, and I can’t wait to read more of them.
