I don't know.

I don't know what I don't know, but there are so many questions i have that have gone unanswered. I feel as if this book was just a giant "what?"

At the same time there were so many thing I loved about We Were Liars.

I loved from the beginning how we came to the realisation that Cadence was an unreliable narrator.

"Then he pulled out a handgun and shot me in the chest. I was standing on the lawn and I fell. The bullet hole opened wide and my heart rolled out of my rib cage and down into a flower bed. Blood gushed rhythmically from my open wound, then from my eyes,my ears,my mouth."

When I realised this wasn't literal I was always trying to decipher what was real to that that wasn't.

I loved the lyrical ways that Cadence narrated her story.

And I loved the tales, which expressed Cadences evolving thoughts throughout the book in the way that average narration could not.

I loved the mysterious aura that surrounded both the the story and beautiful Sinclair family.
