On a continent ruled by three empires, some are born with a "witchery," a magical skill that sets them apart from others.

  • Enjoyable read with some issues

    by on

I love the world building and characters in this series. My only issue is that there was clearly a problem with the editor/editing in this and Truthwitch - in that they did a terrible job. Character names were spelt incorrectly despite being literally the following sentence, where it was correct. Inconsistency with some descriptive passages and repetitive sentences.

So, if you're a stickler for that kind of thing and it would bug you - I'd steer clear of the series. However, I liked it enough to follow through the books so far and would recommend - with the same warning..
