The highly anticipated coming-of-age story for the world's greatest super hero: WONDER WOMAN by the # 1 New York Times bestselling author LEIGH BARDUGO.

She will become a legend but first she is Diana, Princess of the Amazons. And her fight is just beginning . . .

Diana is desperate to prove herself to her warrior sisters. But when the opportunity comes, she throws away her chance at glory and breaks Amazon law to save a mere mortal, Alia Keralis. With this single heroic act, Diana may have just doomed the world.

Alia is a Warbringer - a descendant of the infamous Helen of Troy, fated to bring about an age of bloodshed and misery. Diana and Alia will face an army of enemies, mortal and divine, determined to destroy or possess the Warbringer.

To save the world, they must stand side by side against the tide of war.

Don't miss the new DC Wonder Woman film coming June 2017.

The timely arrival of Wonder Woman onto the big screen this year has seen a huge resurgence of adoration for the famed Princess of the Amazons. With Wonder Woman: Warbringer, Leigh Bardugo has proved herself to be a most worthy candidate for reimagining the Wonder Woman myth for a whole new generation of readers.

Part of a four-part companion series called DC Icons that will see seminal YA writers like Sarah J. Maas and Marie Lu take on legendary DC Comics superheroes, Wonder Woman: Warbringer has started the series off at an incredible high. This book will take its reader on an amazing adventure that is packed full of mythic drama, but which is also anchored by the compassion and warmth that makes Wonder Woman such a beloved character. There is true heart at the centre of this novel, and with it Leigh Bardugo has proven that the classic superhero is a natural fit for the voracious appetites of YA readers.
