HarperCollins is proud to present its range of best-loved, essential classics.
'Is Mr. Heathcliff a man? If so, is he mad? And if not, is he a devil?'

Set on the bleak moors of Yorkshire, Lockwood is forced to seek shelter at Wuthering Heights, the home of his new landlord, Heathcliff. The intense and wildly passionate Heathcliff tells the story of his life, his all-consuming love for Catherine Earnshaw and the doomed outcome of that relationship, leading to his revenge.

Poetic, complex and grand in its scope, Emily Bronte's masterpiece is considered one of the most unique gothic novels of its time.

Have read 20 or so pages when I first received my book Wuthering Heights and I am enjoying the intrigue of the story thus far. The language is good; there are dry humorous, albeit infrequent, parts of text which reads into the juxtaposition of characters early on in the book - which gives me a snicker. The Collins version is very supplementary with a "Words and Phrases" section at the back (very useful for language that is now no longer in general use today).

Very pleased with the A & R Book online service - exceedingly fast delivery, thanks. My husband & I are both reading Wuthering Heights at the same time (like a mini book club) yet he already has his e-book and I had to order my paperback. So i thought he would be streets ahead of me, however I received my book the next day after ordering it so I am delighted that I have been able to begin reading it too.

Thank you for a great service & Fast delivery.
