These are the tapes. These are the VHS available for purchase. These are the tombstones for the old, dead technology.
Entering Turn It Up! In Brattleboro, Vermont you will see many different forms of media. There are records, CDs, DVDs, Blu Rays, Comic Books, Books and t-shirts and patches.
But there are also several bookcases stuffed with VHS tapes. There are hundreds of VHS tapes, most of them for sale for a dollar. For a buch, you can own these treasures. Of course you probably don't have Aa VCR player, which makes us ask, if they cannot be played, are they anything.
Our intrepid reporter, David Macpherson, has taken pictures of all the bookshelves and has gone through every title seen. Some of what he comments on is his personal experience with the movie. Other times, it is a long winded diatribe about old technology and lost movies.
Other times, he just makes fun of the movies he has discovered.
What we have here is a conversation with a person looking at an old form of technology and that technology.
