Vacation Checklist: Hunt down a killer. Confront a major crime boss. Return home alive.

Aboard the SS Santa Rosa, 1938. Vivian Steele, a fashion designer with extraordinary sleuthing skills, may be lounging on the top deck of a luxury ocean liner, sipping champagne with her best friend, Carole Lombard, yet their voyage to a popular resort in the Caribbean is anything but smooth sailing.

Playboy Preston Stone, her new partner, arranged this all-expenses-paid excursion to track down a murderer, and he suspects the man is on board. To make matters worse, Vivian recognizes a few nasty characters from her past who would like nothing better than to prevent her from surviving this trip.

From the high seas into the depths of the jungle, it's a deadly game of who is hunting who as Vivian and Preston, along with a few friends, pursue a dangerous killer and search for the truth about the past – all while tangling with the local authorities (and each other) and dodging ruthless gangsters.

A Helluva Holiday is the third book in this exciting new 1930s Hollywood mystery series starring a great cast of characters ranging from the rich and famous to Bella and Boris, the canine co-stars, and a few other endearing folks. (A pretty clean read – standalone or series)
