To see God we must look deep into nature. Therefore, to build our community, show solidarity with humankind and approach the throne of God himself, we must look deep into nature. Thus, many years ago a Finnish man, following the natural navigational path of the sparrow flew from Finland to Ghana to make friends and enhance global solidarity in travel/immigration. He succeeded in making a Negro friend - make it ban2. Many years down the line, his ban2 friend paid a return visit to Finland. However, this was not achieved without navigating the unnatural visa/travel restrictions of immigration officials at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. Given the ban2's earlier similar negative travel experience to the UK, he had planned his trip with a mission: go to Finland to lose weight, learn how to swim, see reindeers, enjoy everything Finnish. But the mission is only accomplished when he returns with days to spare on his visa as a snob appeal - no, as a necessary push back. A push back to the often inhuman treatment of travellers with a ban2 skin complexion in the hands of immigration officials. Did he succeed? Please read this exciting adventure by Isaac Ato Mensah, an African journalist who follows the sparrow from Ghana to Finland and be the judge.
