He's back and this time he's going global!

Travelling Quaker Dewi Heald is back on his travels, visiting Quaker Meeting Houses around the UK and in this volume, also in Australia, Canada and Costa Rica. In each one he captures a slice of Quaker life and poses questions about who Quakers are, what they do and how they survive in the modern world. All this is interspersed with essays asking questions such as - How can you be peaceful in a world of conflict? How do Quakers get married? What should you do when you think everyone is lying to you and how will the smaller Quaker Meetings survive?

Written between 2019 and 2024, this new volume of travels captures the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in a time of change, with the small matter of a global pandemic in the middle of it. With each visit comes questions about our historic Meeting Houses and how we change and adapt for post-pandemic times. It's also very funny.
