Unfairly treated in her medical career, Rachel seeks a place to hide and finds herself in an Amish community. With distant relatives who are Amish, she decides to stay and try the Amish life. She meets a quiet farmer who barely says a word to her but over time she becomes attached to both him and the Amish community.
