Sarah L. Thomson is an award-winning author who has published more than thirty books for young readers, including the Secrets of the Seven series, Deadly Flowers, and Dragon's Egg. Sarah lives in Portland, Maine, with her daughter and her two cats. Her daughter helps with inspiration, and her cats help by lying on the piece of paper she needs most.

Author and/or illustrator of five CBCA Notable Books, Andrew Plant is an internationally published creator of picture books for children from pre-school to secondary school. He loves stories that are unusual and challenging and look at theworld from a different angle. He is passionate in encouraging children to fall in love with books and reading. He also designs and paints theatre sets and murals, and so rarely has a brush out of his hands.
