Musk plugs in propaganda bots; Schmidt plugs in killer robots. But aging bosses are replaceable too. Once worn out, they are swapped out for a new boss, or for the machines they directed geeks to build.

Tech is ruining our humanity. We are treated as expendable, as parts to be replaced by more efficient parts. We can blame our boss for firing us, or warn of a machine takeover. But that won't stop what we created.
