Back in 2016, after breaking up with his girlfriend, Christina, Nick Fisk spent some time in a psychiatric clinic. Both he and Christina are keen poker players, and while he was being treated on the ward, Christina headed to Luton to take part in a poker tournament. They had quite frequent contact while she was playing, with Fisk attempting to impart advice when they were able to speak on the phone. Ultimately, Christina's trip was not as successful as she would have hoped, but at least in some ways, it had helped the two of them to become friends once more.
