This story is for drinkers who have tried the successful routes to sobriety of others and failed, but have enough spark left to consider something else -- a third or alternative way that worked for me. Neither professional therapy nor Alcoholics Anonymous as singular routes did the job for me. Nothing against either, the fault is mine. Muddled, my route is a bit of this and bit of that.
