Maybe you have never heard of a book written primarily to promote Africa since the days of Chinua Achebe. Well, right now a new writer by name Michael C. Bernard has stepped into the shoes of the great Legend.

This book gives you all you need in an african culture fiction as it makes sure the suspense and grammar is simple and accessible to all and sundry. Imagine reading about the life of an African boy with a female name from a family of nine boys with a single parent who sends him to live with his superstitious grandmother in the village. Imagine his surprise when he finds out how important he is to the society and how he holds the keys to Africa.

Chikadibia is the introductory novel to a series called the Star Lord Series. With an African setting, it gives an introduction to the life of a 17 year old boy born in the West African City of Lagos but is sent to live with his grandmother Mma in his village in the heart of Igbo Land. Chikadibia's grandmother is an ardent believer in reincarnation and believes Chikadibia also called Chiamaka is the reincarnate of her dead husband. She strives to make him live his life like her husband and even ensures he studies the same course her husband Old Godogodo studied in the university. Later, Chikadibia realizes who he really is and why the destiny of the whole Igbo race is really hanging on the head of his family.
