The Book of Revelation is a book of prophecy. ‘’For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.’’ Revelation 22:18.

It has three major outlines. "Write the THINGS WHICH YOU HAVE SEEN, and the THINGS WHICH ARE, and the THINGS WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER THIS.’’ Revelation 1:19. They are: {a} the things which you have seen (THE VISION OF CHRIST) - Chapter 1, {b} the things which are (CONCERNING THE 7 CHURCHES) - Chapters 2 & 3, {c} the things which shall be hereafter (ALL THE EVENTS AFTER CHRIST TAKES HIS BELIEVERS OUT OF THE WORLD, INCLUDING THE RETURN OF CHRIST WITH THE SAINTS TO EARTH) - Chapters 4-22.

There is a blessing promised anyone who reads, hears and heeds the prophecies contained in the Book of Revelation. ‘’Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.’’ Revelation 1:3.

Unfortunately, it is the least read book of the Bible, which also explains why it is the least understood or most misunderstood book of the Bible.

In 1903, Dr. C.I Scofield said, ‘The book is so written that as the actual time of these events approach, the current events will unlock the meaning of the book.’ Therefore, whereas I believe in the Spirit-inspired interpretation of the Bible in general and the Book of Revelation in particular, I also strongly agree with Dr. Scofield that many will become most aware of the truth and prophetic message of this book as they see world events unfold. And without any doubt whatsoever, the world has now become a ‘theatre of prophetic depictions and fulfillment’ of some sort. So we are truly in the days of the greatest and grandest fulfillment of the Book of Revelation. We are in the very last moments of this earth.
