Molly Oldfield

Molly Oldfield studied Modern History at Oxford before becoming a writer and researcher on the BBC television show QI. She has worked on a string of bestselling QI books, wrote a weekly QI column for the Daily Telegraph and researched the BBC4 radio show The Museum of Curiosity.

Momoko Abe

Momoko Abe was born in Japan and has been drawing ever since she can remember. Aged 20, pursuing her passion for visual storytelling, she came to the UK to study filmmaking, and still works in the TV and film industry alongside her illustration work. Momoko is an AOI World Illustration Award Shortlist artist. She lives in London.

Kelsey Buzzell

Kelsey Buzzell is an Oregon-born designer, illustrator, teacher, cat-lover, thrifty-vintage finder and avocado eater living in Springfield, Oregon.

She finds regular inspiration from the Pacific Northwest where the forests, rocky beaches and high desert are home to all sorts of enchanting flora and fauna.

Beatrice Cerocchi

Beatrice Cerocchi is an illustrator and architect based in Rome, Italy. Her awards include the 2017 AOI World Illustration award, and the 2018 Bologna Childrens Book Fair award.

Her clients include: The New York Times and Vogue Bambini. Her work is featured in Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls 2.

Lisa Koesterke

Lisa Koestrerke is a German-Australian illustrator with a love for bright colour palettes, quirky subject matter, pattern design and experimenting with hand-made and digital techniques. Her vibrant illustrations are often inspired by everyday life, nature and food.

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Communication from the Queensland College of Art (Griffith University) in Brisbane, Australia.

Gwen Millward

Gwen Millward is the illustrator of numerous books for children, including Stories from Bug Garden, written by Lisa Moser, The Bog Baby written by Jeanne Willis, Guess What I Found in Dragon Wood, written by Timothy Knapman, and Rosie's Special Present, written by Myfanwy Millward. She is also the author-illustrator of Bear and Bird. Gwen lives in Bristol.

Laurie Stansfield

Laurie Stansfield studied illustration at the University of the West of England. She creates her art digitally using a loose line, lots of texture and a limited but punchy colour palette. The result is a style which is naive and fresh, confident and playful. Perfect for young readers! Laurie lives with her husband in Bristol, and works out of an inspiring studio space which she shares with a handful of up-beat creatives.
