The true story of Scarlett, a completely blind and deaf little Yorkshire Terrier dog with chronic skin allergies and ear infections. The Animal Control Officer who picked her up said she'd been abandoned and was wandering on the street, bumping into things she was unable to see. Beverlee adopted her from the Animal Shelter by asking for "an older dog that no one wants".

Scarlett's gift in life was a heartful of love which she gave to Beverlee by always following her everywhere and napping at her feet giving her love and comfort.
