Ohhh, God used to talk to humanity through a handful of prophets, long since removed from the planet. Then the quack-o priest and ministers arrived. But, we got a little bit better communication from the printed holy books of today, so we can 'read' what God may be saying to us, without actually knowing for sure if we are hearing what 'was' said to us properly...whenever.
