Determined be successful when I grew up, and becoming first in my family to earn a college degree, I achieved my dream job working for Boeing Aircraft as a Senior Research Design Engineer, where I collaborated on the Minuteman missile and the Trident submarine, and contributed major designs to the Space Shuttle and Moon lander. Years after I retired, at the age of eighty-two, I opened my own travel agency. During my lifetime I've visited sixty-five world cities, twenty-nine countries, and taken thirty-two cruises.

While these accomplishments give me pride, it is my relationship with my sons that I consider my greatest achievement. They were my inspiration for writing this book, Having a Successful Life, a fictional account of an older gentleman sharing what he's learned about what really matters in life. Because of all of this, I feel qualified to write about success, but that decision will ultimately be yours to make.
