After an English Literature degree, Dawn travelled in Africa and Asia. Returning home to Britain, Dawn started work for a wonderful family in their back garden-studio, publishing multi-cultural children's books.

Dawn now dreams up her own stories, inspired by the everyday magic of the world. She lives on the edge of the South Downs with her husband, two little ones, and a tabby cat.

Oamul Lu is an illustrator and animator who was born - and still lives today - in China.

His art depicts the world he sees, hears, and experiences in daily life, and he hopes that people will be inspired to live their own wonderful life by his artwork. Held in Love is his first picture book.
