The second book in The Four Sisters series is thrilling and entertaining as the strong, bold characters return in an effort to defeat the Ancients and the gods who wish to rule. The plot thickens with lots more twist and turns to keep readers guessing and wondering just who can really be trusted. Dragon Hunters have decided that they want to destroy all magic which adds a bit more danger and excitement for readers even as it adds to the chaos that surrounds Sascha and her family and friends. This fascinating world never lets readers have a dull moment and it continuously has something happening that has them biting their nails in anticipation throughout this fast paced story.

The author created a wonderful world full of her own elements and some really great characters that readers can really connect to and become caught up in the story. It involves two worlds but it is fantasy but while Earth seems to be in the present, the overall feel of the Eratus is old world but yet not, maybe because it has Kings and Dukes or maybe it’s because the gods and goddess play a major part, whichever it is there is more to this world and readers really want to discover what it is. There is also a bit more romance in this story as Sascha and Marco have reconnected but there is trouble in their relationship which of course the highly intense and volatile situation surrounding their world plays a major part of. Once readers start reading, there is no way to put the book down and since the story has not reached a final conclusion where everyone lives happily ever after, readers will definitely want to read the next one.
