This story grabbed me right away with its danger and fast pace. Things were constantly moving the whole time. I really liked how the suspense kept building while the romance developed alongside it, so there was always something pulling me forward. I found it incredibly easy to sink into and not put it down.

Nick was such a great hero. He was strong, capable, and protective in a calm, confident way I love. Berkeley was just as easy to root for. She was smart, determined, and perfectly capable of handling herself, which I appreciated so much. Together they just worked. Their chemistry felt natural, and I loved watching the trust and attraction grow between them while everything around them was unfolding.

Overall this was a really fun romantic suspense with great pacing, plenty of tension, and a couple I genuinely enjoyed spending time with. I finished it with that satisfied feeling and a big smile.
