Tammi Sauer is the author of many picture books, including But the Bear Came Back, Caring for Your Lion, Chicken Dance, Cowboy Camp, Your Alien (which earned starred reviews in both Kirkus and Publishers Weekly), and Your Alien Returns (all Sterling).

She is an active blogger (tammisauer.com) and highly involved in the children's writer community. Tammi lives in OK with her husband and their two children. Her local indie bookstore, Best of Books, in Edmond, OK, has named July 9th Tammi Sauer Day.

Guy Francis

Guy Francis spends most of his time drawing, painting, and drawing some more. He has done a variety of illustration work in the children’s market, including editorial and educational illustration, chapter books, and picture books. He freelances from his home in Provo, Utah, where his wife and four children are his own personal art critics and bring a healthy bit of chaos to the studio. Every now and then he gets out of the house and heads to the mountains with his family.
