Love never ends... A widow who talks to her late husband and the handsome single neighbor who secretly has loved her for years.

Since losing her husband, Cari McKenna has dedicated herself to her family and building a successful coffee shop. Now, her grown children have moved out, and her daughters are pushing her to brave the perils of internet dating. Even Cari must admit her life might be too placid until a tree falls across her roof, exposing her loneliness.

Ray Davis stops by What’s Perkin’ for his morning muffin, and it’s not just the blueberry muffins that pull him in, but the beautiful widow, Cari McKenna. The handsome master carpenter wonders if she’ll ever see him as more than a neighbor and friend.

Working with her to rebuild her damaged house gives him a good excuse to spend more time with her, but she still only seems interested in him as a buddy. Pretending to want a reconciliation, Ray’s ex-wife arrives, endangering his future and potentially his life.

Lost and Found is the second novel in the McKenna Family Romance Series, although each book can be read as standalone. A later in life small town romance story with a guaranteed happily ever after. Happy reading!**

This author's books are well written, well thought out with interesting story lines and loveable characters. She also does not follow the Stupidity Formula that is so common nowadays with characters that cannot communicate, and act and think stupid. There aren't any silly misunderstandings.

The Loudon Series:
Between Here and Heaven, 1 - This is a quick, easy to read story that does have a little seasonal magic with interesting characters and a realistic approach to the family's grief. Original 2018 review explains 3* rating.

Lost and Found, 2 - A lovely, sweet story about second loves, old friendships and family. Characters are logical and can communicate their thoughts and opinions. 5*

The Journey Home, 3 - The perfect love story to follow Lost and Found, or any other book. I have enjoyed reading about this family, and found both books relaxing, easy to read and hard to out down. Start at the beginning and follow along with the loves and lives of the McKenna Family. 5*

Ready to Soar, 5 - The Loudon Series is one of my favorites. It is always enjoyable to read about this family and their extended family of friends. This time there is a bit of drama and silliness from Kate, but she figures things out and does a good thing for someone needing support and friendship. 5*

Love in the Looking Glass, 6 - I love this series but I had a hard time with Ellie; I did not care for her. Yet, the well written story lines, Ellie's family and Aunt Winnie and Pad kept me reading until the end. Source: Booksprout. 4*

Magic in the Rain, 7 - Rather an intense read when Dani's past is in her present. Interesting and immersing with the same wonderful characters, including Ellie, in this delightful series. Source: Booksprout. 4*
The Loudon Series end.
