Jeff Sparrow

Jeff Sparrow is a writer, editor, and broadcaster. He writes a regular column for The Guardian and contributes regularly to many other Australian and international publications. Jeff is a former member of the 3RRR Breakfasters team and the immediate past editor of literary journal Overland.

He is the author of a number of books, including Money Shot- a journey into porn and censorship; No Way But This -  in search of Paul Robeson; and Trigger Warnings -  political correctness and the rise of the right.

Melanie Cheng

Melanie Cheng is a writer and general practitioner.

Of Chinese-Australian heritage, she was born in Adelaide, grew up in Hong Kong and now lives in Melbourne.

In 2016 she won the Victorian Premier's Literary Award for an Unpublished Manuscript.

Australia Day is her first book.
