This is a very short story (1,116 words). A noir nugget. A tiny thriller with a twist. You could read this morsel of mayhem over a quick cup of coffee at a late-night diner. If the coffee doesn't make you nervous, perhaps this tale will. Ready to order? "Oh, waitress!"
Included as an appetizer, an excerpt from my novella, FLOATERS, which may disturb your dreams. Bon appetit!
