Pete's first stop is the Moon. He bounces around while he collects some moon rocks. He meets a friendly alien, they have lunch together, eating moon cheese sandwiches. The alien gave Pete a glowing rock souvenir.
Pete flies to Saturn, marveling at its beautiful rings. He decides to slide down the rings like they're giant slides at a playground. As he zooms around, he meets a group of ring-surfing space penguins who teach him how to do tricks. Pete has a blast doing loop-de-loops and zigzags through the colorful rings. He takes a picture with his new penguin friends before continuing his journey.
On Mars, Pete discovers a stranded Martian whose flying saucer has broken down. Using his creativity and problem-solving skills, Pete helps the Martian fix the saucer using spare parts from his rocket and some Martian red rocks. The grateful Martian teaches Pete some Martian words and shows him how to do a funny Martian dance. They become good friends and promise to keep in touch through space mail.
