The purpose of this book is to provide information to people who are interested in learning to play the guitar. The book starts with an extensive overview of the origins of the guitar. The book then goes more into detail about the various components and their influences on the sound of this beautiful instrument.

In this book I will not discuss the electric guitar at all. In general, the technique and theory behind this instrument is the same, but there are so many variations of these instruments that it is too extensive to discuss them in this e-book. In the book I will therefore only discuss acoustic guitars and their variations.
