History has shown unequivocally that humans are obsessed with building empires and hegemony.

Every civilization in every region of the world was based on the powerful empires that were built in those areas.

Many of these empires expanded relentlessly to dominate their neighbouring regions, and even beyond.

But, the rise and fall of empires is also an unending story around the world.

Why are humans so obsessed with building empires?

Quite clearly, in this modern era of multiple nations and a multi-polar world, the obsession for hegemony is a dangerous destructive force.

Humankind has to learn to get out of this obsession so that different nations can live at peace with one another and not fear being dominated, interfered or destroyed by a hegemon.
