I am not sure what exactly is to blame for the online dating environment going to hell in a handbasket so quickly. Two words come to mind: access and anonymity.

COVID had an enormous impact on the dating scene; it blurred and dissolved boundaries. Boundary issues most apparent include generational, financial, preference (dom/sub) and cultural to name some top results.

I wanted to put together this information about the changes in the format of rules of engagement, and share concepts, anecdotal references, and real dialogs I’ve experienced. There will be many pop culture references from my era and tongue-in-cheek comments. By no means are some of our experiences insignificant; it’s just my way of writing.

The title opening suggest this is a queer folk only issue. It’s not. This book is for everyone. I hope you gain a few rules to add to your list. Validate your experiences and actions taken.
