Jana (she/her) is a children's illustrator based on the rainy west coast of Canada and is grateful to live on the traditional lands of the shishalh Nation.

Inspired by the creatures and environment of the local rainforests and the ocean, she spends her spare time wandering rocky beaches and sipping obnoxiously strong coffee.

Jana Curll is an illustrator and art director. A graduate of the Illustration and Design program (IDEA) of Capilano University, she works in a variety of mediums from digital to oils to explore her subjects.

For many years, she has worked developing visual programs and entertainment for children, and her work has appeared in magazines, science centres, greeting cards, puzzles, video games and toys.
