I wake up in the hospital with no memory of the past six months. Now I live with a man who's practically a stranger, and I have no idea why.

When my father died, I lost everything--family, career, friends, money, support. I remember the loss, not what came after, but evidently everything changed in the months I can't recall. Brilliant, scarred, aloof Arthur Worthing was nothing more than a friend of my dad's, but he must have felt sorry for me. He gave me a job and a place to live.
