'Recovering Addict: Addicted to Gang Bangin' is a literary master piece. The overall message of the book addresses gang violence, PTSD, and conflict resolution.

The author uses specific real life experience in hopes to steer at-risk youth away from a life of crime and violence. Each chapter tackles some of the most controversial topics surrounding the Gang culture, such as but not limited to; Why is my loved one in a gang, the crown that doesn't exist, shell shock, and the cure. This book is a must read, and should be used as a supplemental text for universities and colleges in their criminal justice program.
