This book is an innovative insight into the challenges faced by organisations and communities arising from oil spillage and pollution, as well providing a total and comprehensive coverage of approaches and techniques for dealing with this, what we call Oil Spillage Response (OSR). It is part of the Energy Series educating people everywhere to the need for sustainable oil and gas production, the transition to renewables and of course the required knowledge to safeguard the health, safety and environment of individuals and communities. It can be read stand alone or as part of professional training for oil and gas workers, those co-opted into an OSR project or even environmentalists/activists wanting to protect the environment.
