Shirin Yim Bridges is the Ezra Jack Keats Award-winning author of Ruby's Wish, The Umbrella Queen, and Mary Wrightly, So Politely. In addition, she founded Goosebottom Books, publisher of The Thinking Girl's Treasury of Dastardly Dames and The Thinking Girl's Treasury of Real Princesses. Go to Bed, Ted! is a companion to Get Up, Elizabeth!, also published by Cameron Kids. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Sophie Blackall has illustrated several children's books and has also animated for TV. Her books include Meet Wild Boars by Meg Rosoff, and Ruby's Wish.
