In Same Pints o’ Pish, follow the tragicomic lives of Shuggie and Dug, two hopeless, out-of-work Glaswegians trapped in a never-ending loop of cheap beer, busted dreams, and failed attempts at romance.
Their flat is a disaster, their lives are worse, and their only solace comes from pint after pint in The Drunken Dodo, a pub as grim and broken as they are. Between Shuggie’s awful poetry, Dug’s hypochondria, and the relentless teasing from their neighbour, Roxy, their days are a blur of petty fights and half-baked schemes.
Whether it’s arguing over who makes the best Scotch pies, gettin’ caught in pub brawls, or tryin’ to scrape enough money together for one more round, Shuggie and Dug know deep down that nothin’ will ever change. But maybe, just maybe, they’re okay with that.
Gritty, darkly humorous, and unapologetically raw, Same Pints o’ Pish is a story about failure, friendship, and finding comfort in the mess of it all.
