What's the truth about motorcycles? It's not all Zen, sunrises, and magic.

The Road to Joy can be bumpy—moments that leave you muttering into your helmet or dribbling down your leg.

In the revised edition of Scraping Pegs, Michael Stewart shares the road-worn truth of motorcycling—equal parts humor, grit, and hard-earned wisdom. With sharp insight and an offbeat voice, he lays out his personal "rules" for riding and surviving life in between.

Whether you're a beginner, a seasoned rider, a garage-bound dreamer, or stuck thirty miles outside of Shit Creek with a flat tire, this is a companion for your journey. It might even help you avoid Horace the Horrible—and other unexpected collisions.
