More Shelter Designs

Since the dawn of the Cold War in the 1950's people have sought ways to protect themselves from the specter of global thermonuclear war. Both the private sector and the U.S. government responded with plans for home bomb/fallout shelters.

In Volume Two we document more classic Dept. of Defense plans, Atomic Energy Commission, and even Dept of Agriculture shelters designs intend for farmers and dairymen. Most include plan drawings, material lists, and basic construction details.
